Structure
-The main components of our nervous system are the brain, spinal cord, *nerves, *neurons, and retina. However other, less important, structures such as synapses, glial cells, neurotransmitters,etc.
There are four sections in our nervous system.
*nerves: cylindrical bundles of fibers that start at the brain and reach out to the rest of the body
*neurons: specialized cells that transmit signals throughout the body
*neurons: specialized cells that transmit signals throughout the body
